Social Media Manager Application

Virtual A Team is currently looking for a new social media manager. This individual will be open to working with a variety of different business types with an emphasis on coaches and speakers. The right person will be a part of our team providing virtual services of all types.

This position is an hourly 1099 contractor position. Our hourly rate is between $15 and $30 depending on experience and qualifications.

Important skills include:

  • An ability to plan a social media strategy that works towards specific goals.
  • An understanding of brand identity and the ability to convey that through social media content.
  • A willingness to always be learning,
  • An understanding of various social media metrics and how to use them to measure results,
  • An ability to manage multiple projects and work with a variety of individuals,
  • Excellent communication and writing skills (English as a first language only).

Our clients range from basic social media posting (which this position would not be in charge of) to full social media strategy and management. All of our clients receive a custom approach based on their interests and needs.

Some duties may include:

  • Develop relevant content topics to reach the company’s target customers.
  • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video and written).
  • Monitor, listen and respond to users in a “Social” way while cultivating leads and sales.
  • Develop and expand community and/or influencer outreach efforts.
  • Oversee design (ie: Facebook Timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, Blog, etc.).
  • Design, create and manage promotions and Social ad campaigns.
  • Analyze key metrics and tweak strategy as needed.
  • Compile reports for management showing results (ROI).
  • Become an advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.
  • Demonstrate the ability to map out a comprehensive marketing plan. Drive strategies that are proven by testing and metrics.
  • Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy.
  • Implement ongoing education to remain highly effective.
  • Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising social media, content marketing, SEO and social advertising campaigns.
  • Manage team of VAs and other experts to implement strategy and plan.
